The landing page shown above is not mine. The owners of the tattoo parlor ended up joining a bigger tattoo parlor and the website was shut down.
However, the landing page I designed looked exactly like this. Different aesthetic but the same elements. After the form was filled, the visitor had the option to schedule their own appointment using the Wix calendar. |
All is Well that Ends Well~
The project was a success. The tattoo parlor launched about a month before I joined. The two partners were struggling to find the initial clients to get their business off the ground. I found them on Upwork seeking marketing freelancers, and sent them a proposal.
After the completion of this contract, I was invited to run their social media marketing with a bigger budget and timeline.
At the time, I was doing this, SEO writing for a handful of clients, and my tech startup ARKS started gaining traction. It was right after this contract that I decided to go all in on ARKS.
I transitioned out well. I found a potential replacement, communicated how to keep the funnel flowing, and how to make it better. Around December 2019, the partners decided to join another tattoo parlor and help run that instead. I still see their posts on my Instagram feed, and they look happier now more than ever.
